Meet The Team
Founder, Funeral Director, Certified Long term Care Insurance Specialist Ken Neeld
Ken Neeld, founder of Neeld Family Funeral Care has helped thousands of families throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region and is committed to improving “end of life” services in the United States.
Ken’s most notable programs have focused on the special type of loss experienced when losing a child and have been successfully adopted by regional healthcare systems for families that experience a miscarriage, stillbirth or early childhood loss.
Ken has also led successful development initiatives and community partnerships with health systems, nursing homes, and hospices to help improve quality of care, especially at the end of life. He writes and teaches Continuing Education for clinical teams in healthcare.
In 2007, Ken worked with a leading group of Veterinary Specialists to improve the “family experience” for families when their companion animal dies. These programs grew to serve hundreds of families per month on the Main Line in Philadelphia and today can be recognized as one of the early programs to provide resources for families that embraced pets like families.
Ken and his team are focused on making (Neeld) Family Funeral Care the #1 most trusted resource in end of life care. “Families have changed, options have changed, we want to be the resource that brings it all together in a way that is simpler, more affordable, more meaningful, better”-Ken
Our Family Care Team is committed to improving lives! Often the first to respond when someone passes away, Sky, Shawn, and Benny lead our First Response Team ensuring that families are treated with care.
There are many administrative details that need to be handled in a timely manner to make sure families have the tools they need to Probate an Estate or to file items like Social Security or Insurance Claims.
Susan Neeld leads our administrative support team. She has a strong financial background, coupled with many years of operation management experience in a hectic but client focused environment. Susan is the daughter of a funeral director and understands the practical importance of providing gentle guidance to bereaved families at a very sensitive time that leads them to the right decisions for their family and lost loved one.
