Harvey Gottlieb of Philadelphia died peacefully Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Nazareth hospital on April 7 ,2020 He was 85 years old.
Born in Philadelphia on July 28, 1934, he was the son of late Phillip R Gottlieb and Sadie Krevens Gottlieb.
Harvey is survived by his first wife, Judith Syderman and their three children. Randy Gottlieb, son (Patty), David Gottlieb son (Valerie) and Rhonda Soltroff, daughter (Jerry). He also leaves behind five grandchildren Katie, Tommy, Luke and Nick Gottlieb, and Heather Soltroff (Joe).
Harvey was preceded in death by his loving wife Ida Pascucci. Ida had one child Michael Pascucci Sr and his children, Michael Jr. and Christopher Pascucci.
In addition to his parents, Harvey was survived by his devoted sister Sharon Barr (Phillip and Susan) and was preceded in death by his brother Alvin. Harvey attended North East High school and went on to work for the Philadelphia traffic court, from there he became a committee man and then worked as a Prudential Insurance salesman.
Harvey served honorably as an Army Medic in South Korea and he had many stories that he loved to tell.
Most of all Harvey loved watching sports with his sons and grandchildren. Let’s not forget his love for Chinese and taking his family out to restaurants. Harvey had a wonderful laugh and would light up the room with his smile. Harvey was very protective and cared deeply for his loving sister Sharon Barr, who devoted many hours to his loving care.
