Henry George Sparks, age 88 of Havertown, PA passed away on July 10, 2018. He was born on February 23, 1930 to the late Henry and Anne Sparks . 

Henry attended Boston University where he majored in Theatre before entering the USAF. 

As a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force, Henry served from 1953-196. Henry taught military law and  was later promoted to Captain in January 1961 before being honorably discharged in 1963.

Henry worked for the Department of Medical Education at University of Pennsylvania for 8 years before retiring in 2003. He was a volunteer recruiter for Penn’s basketball teams where he was awarded a merit recognition also supported the teams with Audio Visual of the games and practices.

Henry was a longtime resident at Westgate Hills Rehab and Nursing Center in Havertown where he developed many friendships. He was also cared for by Caring Hospice. His caregivers, fellow residents, friends and staff will all fondly remember Henry.

Henry will be honored with a procession led by NAM Knights on September 12th beginning at Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge Park at 11:45AM and ending with an interment at West Laurel Hill Cemetery at 1PM where Military Honors will be rendered.
