Jeanne Angela Vare, 75, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Jeanne was a devout Catholic. She had a generous, loving heart and loved to laugh and tell jokes to make others laugh.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Jeanne’s life on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Saint Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington, PA 18976. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and the funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment immediately following at Saint John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont. A memorial luncheon will follow at a location to be announced.
Jeanne was born to William and Helen Vare and raised in Wyncote, PA. She graduated from Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, class of 1961, attended Immaculata College, and graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She taught elementary school and worked as an administrative assistant for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit.
She is survived by her daughters Patricia Morton (husband John) of Schwenksville, PA, and Kathleen Maher of Blue Bell, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Katie Morton, Meghan Morton (partner Amanda), Erin Morton, Colleen Morton, and Devon Morton; brothers William and Joseph; sisters Clare and Patricia. She is preceded in death by sisters Gloria, Rosemary, Helene, and Marion.
