Julia A. "Judy" (Basile) Mirzoeff , age 78 of North Wales, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Norristown, PA on April 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Florence (Storti) Basile. She graduated from Bishop Kenrick HS class of 1959 and worked as a supervisor at Bell telephone, then at Norristown School District and then at Clemens. Judy was a woman of many interests and enjoyed artistic hobbies that included collecting antique memorabilia. She was a wonderful pianist and, for a time, played the organ with her family in Norristown’s Holy Savior Church choir. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family and her cat Misty.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 58 years, Edward Mirzoeff; her children, Erik Mirzoeff (Vicki Smondroski) of Norristown, PA and Michele Hickey (William) of Pilesgrove, NJ; her sister Carol Venezia (Salvatore) of Hatfield, PA; as well as her nieces Dena Rogozinski (Harry) and their children Gabriella and Harry and Jamie Benner (Brian) and their children Nathaniel and Jacob and brother-in-law Alexander Mirzoeff, and her grandchildren, Kimberly, Carl, Michael and William Hickey, Jr.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at St. Mary's Manor Chapel, 701 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery in Norristown.
