Kathleen E. S. Travis of Pottstown on January 10, 2021

Kathleen E. S. Travis nee Salei passed away on January 10, 2021. She was born on April 20, 1948 in Trenton, NJ. Kathleen was the beloved mother to Tammilyn Guevarra (husband Riz) and Sean Linville (wife Jessica). Grandchildren, Kristen Maciejewski (husband John), Steven Berry, Paige Nester, Trinity Linville, Gavyn Linville and Rowan Linville. She was beloved Great-grandmother to Bobbi and Olivia Maciejewski. Kathleen is also survived by her sister Michelle E. S. Shields (husband James) and nephews Christian Hutchins, Michael Hutchins and Alan Shields and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Kathleen had a lifelong love of Scouting. As a young girl she was a member of Girl Scouting starting with Brownies and eventually earned the highest honor of the Curved Bar. She assisted with both her daughters Girl Scout Troop and her sons Cub Scout Pack and continuing through his Boy Scout Troop years. She went on to become Council Chair for Special Needs Scouting, earning the Scout Wood Badge and attending Philmont Scout Reservation for Adult Training.

She was often the only female in several of the drafting rooms where she worked, from U-Haul in Warrington right out of high school to her last position at Lutron, 28 years later where she was a consultant with her own company.

She was a Lifetime Member of the Upper Salford Fire Company. YMCA Sewing and Craft advisor and a Member Loose Thread Quilt Guild.
