She was the daughter of William Frederick and Philomena Panhuise.
A devoted mother and grandmother. Mary Lane enjoyed traveling with friends and family. She never missed an opportunity for a new adventure. She used to claim her suitcase was always packed and could travel anywhere on a whim. She was full of life and laughter. She loved going to lunch with her friends and sharing great memories. She was spontaneous, fun and a social butterfly. Her favorite pastime was traveling to Myrtle Beach with her grandchildren. Mary was a fearless woman. She put herself through college in her thirties and eventually completed her master’s degree at Rutgers University. She learned to provide for herself and her children after finding herself widowed at a very young age. She was an incredible woman and lived life to the fullest. After completing her masters, she became a social worker and helped countless children overcome difficult times in the New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission. She would often say, “if I can make a difference in just one child’s life, I’ve done my job.” She gave these kids hope and love, when no one else would. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She was an undeniable force and positive energy that everyone wanted to be a part of. She was greatly loved and will be forever missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a future date.
