Robert D. Kuhn of Sun City Center, FL passed away peacefully on the evening of January 26, 2019 in the company of his wife Mari Jo who was reading to him a memoir from his surviving brother, Donald Kuhn. After being discharged from the service, he married the first love of his life, Kathleen Fitzsimmons, who predeceased him in 1984. In 1989 he married the second love of his life, Mari Jo Gerlach, with whom he spent the next thirty-years traveling extensively and enjoying a long retirement. Bob had five children and Mari Jo had nine. They also shared 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Bob was a devoted father and family man, enjoying his children and grandchildren, keeping up with them and his many nieces and nephews. Professionally, he was a Library Specialist and Manufacturers Representative for Buckstaff Furniture, Aetna Steel & Wilson. He furnished libraries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and elsewhere. Some of his notable projects were the Villanova Law Library, Penn State and projects at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
